Hello
please look at first in the system-log from the managent board. Or start the system in sigle user mode to look in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log.

Hi,
1. Go into single user mode.
Halt the system at PDC
Main menu> hpux -is

Then have a look at /etc/rc.log, /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log and /etc/shutdownlog.

2. Still if you don't find specific error then go to GSP

Press B from console, type SL and then look for System/Console logs.
Post if you any specific error and need some clarification on it.

Hope that helps.

You need to know a lot to actually know how little you know

1. Check the log files.
/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
/var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log

2. Analise the tombstone file, if the problem is HPMC or LPMC.
/var/tombstones/ts99

3. Use Q4 to find the problem is Software or Hardware.

4. After reboot, if the system status is good, monitor the swap with # swapinfo.
it may caused for poor swap size.
