HP-UX installation errors
I was installing HP-UX 11i V2 on rx1650 model with Intel Itanium processor. The installation was successful but in between there were 3 FAILUREs. Can anyone help why these errors occured and what is the impact on the system.
I have given the details below.

Immediately after the above mesasges when system is booted from DVD, there is a menu
and I selected 'Install HP-UX' and then in the next screen,
selected 'Media Installation Only' and 'Advanced Installation'.
It brought me to another menu titled '/opt/ignite/bin/itool ()'.
I entered the required parameters in Basic, Software, System, File System and Advanced.
Then pressed 'Go' and it started with loads of messages.
Within this, there was a failure.... "vxregctl: queryvalue failed:"
a small sample of the screenshot is as given below.

After the installation, when the system booted from OS on hard drives,
there was again an error HP-UX Start-up for RPC daemon. shown below.

have you checked the /etc/rc.log file.
What happens if you:
/opt/dce/sbin/rpcd
/opt/dce/sbin/rpcd -f

As far as I could find out you can ignore these messages, as they have to impact on the system.
