HP-UX printing to a Toshiba copier

Hello-

I am setting up my HP-UX 11.11 server to print to a Toshiba e850 copier. I downloaded the .tar from Toshiba and installed it. Next I entered my ip/hostname into the /etc/hosts. I then added the printer with the toshiba utility estbwadd queuename hostname
Nothing prints. When I look in Sam the print request is still sitting there and the Printer says accepting request, but not enabled to print. If I enable the pritner it wil not stick- goes right back to No.

I am working with Toshiba as well on this, but have not been able to resolve. I am hoping that someone here may give me a suggestion.

The first question for Toshiba support is: have you ever tried the tar package on HP-UX 11.11?

Since this code is bypassing the normal lp spooler, it will be very difficult to adise on a plan. I would try to add the printer as a "remote printer" in sam. NOTE: This printer must support plain ASCII printing. If it only supports Postscript, you've got a lot more work to do.

The technician told me upfront that they did not have a hp-ux system "right now". I asked how long it would take for him to get one and he laughed out loud.
I am escalating this, but was hoping someone esle had been through it. Thanks
