Re: HP-UX remote installation on rp2430
Dear Hasan,
You can make a ignite server in the network and make a depot.
The rp2430 can be booted thru LAN, and can get installed.
check this link

With Regards,
Siva.

Re: HP-UX remote installation on rp2430
Just do,
PDC> boot lan install
in the BCH/PDC menu
When multiple ignite servers are present in the network,
PDC> boot lan.nn.n.nn.n install
where: nn.n.nn.n is your server's IP address.
With Regards,
Siva

Re: HP-UX remote installation on rp2430
The ignite case mentioned above require atleast one more HP system to be there in your network. If this is the case you can also consider taking ignite backup of that server and restoring it onto your current server. This will be more suitable because the possibility of having a external tape drive is much more and the same drive can be connected to both the hosts externally.
But for this to work the other server should have latest ignite-Ux installed and should be of similar architecture.
HTH,
Devender
