HP-UX server NFS mount a directory of OpenVMS error
Hi
I have a HP-UX server (hpux7) rp4440 OS: 11i v1 and a OpenVMS server(vms001). From HP-UX side I tried to NFS mount a directory (/ora_wrk)of OpenVMS, system has below error message
NFS getattr failed for server vms001, PC: Authentication error
nfs mount: mount_nfs: mount: /ora_wrk: I/O error
On OpenVMS vms001 side, admin had added hpux7 into proxy, and export it and assign the priv "RWED" to hpux7.
On HP-UX hpux7 side, this server had NFS mounted lots of file systems from other OpenVMS servers, other HP-UX servers, in other words, /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf has set, /ora_wrk has set in /etc/fstab, dir /ora_wrk has mkdir, /sbin/init.d/nfs.client start has run ...
How to fix it.
Any answers will be very appreciate.

Re: HP-UX server NFS mount a directory of OpenVMS error
I have fixed this problem.
On OpenVMS NFS server side:
Add hpux7 root's uid=0 gid=3 on proxy for /oracle_xr instead of normal setting of -2 -2, it works.
This thread will be close.
Thanks everyone.
