Access to HP-UX software recovery handbook requires a valid HP-UX support contract, i.e. it is not free and giving a copy of it to just anyone might not be legal (unless someone at HP says otherwise).

If you have a support contract, go to http://itrc.hp.com, select "navigate knowledge trees", then "HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook". From there you can download all the chapters of the book. Each chapter is a separate PDF file: if they were all together, the file might be bigger than is practical.
