HP UX supported version for rp7410

Hello,

we are migrating an SAP/Oracale environement to an new rp7410. Is HP-UX 11.00 supported on rp7410? IS HP-UX 11i mandatory?

The HP website says they only support 11i on rp7410, but we have a few running 11.0 perfectly aok and if we call the Response centre with a problem they dont refuse it because were not running 11i, so i think its perfectly aok to run 11.0.

The only problem is some of HP's new applications only run on 11i so your limiting yourself running 11.0 (eg. Virtual partitions) and 11i is very very similar to 11.0 just that it has lots of nice new features and apps.

11.00 should work nicely but go for 11i now and your box is stable for years

The supported OS for the rp7410(akak Matterhorn) is HP-UX 11i or greater, (when a greater or newer release becomes available).
The rp7400( what was the N-clas) is supported from 11.00, bear in mind they are two completely different architecturedsystems,

11.00 will work but unless you have apps that won't support on 11.11 go for the newer release.

I believe that box is 64 bit only which makes support of older apps a pain.

rp7410 supports 11.0 no doubt in that.

rp7410 built for n-partitions and v-partitions which is possible only using 11i. so to make use of full capability of 7410 HP recommends only 11i.

but we are running 11.0 on rp7410 for some tests, i don't know how it affect in developement environment

Are all add on adapters of arp7410 supported under 11.0?

We use some software that is not supported under 11.11 and just bought a rp7410 to replace a rented system.

So I wonder if 11.0 knows the following adapters
