HP-UX User license`

HP-UX User license`

I have rebuilt a HP RP5470. But I have come across a licensing issue

When executing `uname -a` it states I have a two user license.

When running the command..
#swlist -l fileset |grep -i userlicense

It states I have unlimited user license.

# UserLicense B.11.11 HP-UX User License
UserLicense.UNL-USER B.11.11 HP-UX Unlimited User License

How can I get my system to read the unlimited license again ?!

Re: HP-UX User license`

unfortuantly the problem is a little more complicated ....

a) we need to install the UUL for 11.11

b) its installed already but uname is reporting differently.

current thinking is the ipd contains entries for both the 2 user and uul.

So we may need to force the reinstall of this uul.

Research suggests this is now on the core O/S but appears it might not be in depot format.

Well that's where we left it last we spoke ...
