HP-UX v3 and Hitachi storage

Anyone knows if
- HP's support of Secure Path on the new HDS equipment?
- multipath s/w on HP/UX V11.3; is that supported on HDS?

I understand that both of these feature will be included with the v3 OS. The questions is will HP support these features on the HDS? Is it documented anywhere? Thx in advance.

SecurePath is obsoleted as of 11.31.

11.31 includes this functionality natively.

As far as Hitatchi's support for 11.31, I would assume yes as the HP XP is an Hitatchi rebrand.

Always check the array vendors support and connectivity guides for the latest information, updates and recommended patch requirements.

Interoperability validation for HDS storage is documented here:

Note that this doesn't infer that HP *supports* these storage devices, merely that they've been validated as working. You still need to go to HDS for support.
