HP-VM

Hi Experts,

I have created a guest & started guest with the default hpvmcreate cmd.. so am facing issue with assigning ip to the vm -guest & i need to boot the guest from ignite server.

I would go into the guests efi shell and use dbprofile.

Torsten,

I went to the Vmp> promt from there i tried to locate the lan boot & try to see the lan boot adress, but nothing i found, is it the correct way to boot from the ignite server.

hpvmmodify -P guest1 -a disk:avio_stor:0,5,0:disk:/dev/rdisk/disk11.
now ok i added via SMH, but

If i want to define as a persistent device:

/dev/disk/c0t5/d4---- am trying to add this but it shows an error as

"Unable to add the backing store device"
