HP WBEM Services on Itanium 11.23

It seems that one of my Itanium servers is missing the following bit of software:-

B8465BA A.02.00.04 HP WBEM Services for HP-UX

I have had a look on the FOE 11.23 install dvd and cannot seem to find it. Which dvd is this bit of software on please?

That is a free piece of software. You should be able to find it on one of the Core OS DVD's also a software update cd.

software.hp.com might have what you want.

I'm just wondering why it did not get installed when I first built the server. I need to rebuilt one next week so I will have a careful look through the software selection screen this time!

When searching through the cd I need to look for B8465BA?

Yes Nyck,

I would look for:

B8465BA

If you installed the systems off the same Core OS DVD you should be able to find it.

You also might be able to find it with a swinstall -i with the DVD in the drive.

That will provide you with an alpha sorted list which can sometimes make things easier to find.

Now we know why he could not find it.
