HP World 2005 call for papers
To read more, go to:
http://www.hpworld.com/conference/hpworld2005/hpw05_speak_01.jsp
(Look at the content areas if you want to get some pointers on topics.) I have 2 presentations I can think of to submit, 1 new, 1 a 'rerun'.
If you are wondering if you should do a presentation or not, the answer is yes! HP World is one of the best conferences around, and the more presentations by ordinary people like us, the better. (Can I call us ordinary?) If you are unsure about what to speak on, pick a topic you know fairly well and do it. The presentation slides are not due until the middle of July, if they accept your presentation, and that gives you time to become an expert in that topic. (I like to do new presentations, it forces me to become as expert as I can on the topic I present...)
This year they are giving an award for the top presentation.
Any takers? It really isn't that bad. I get a little nervous, but the people in the presentations are just like me (ok, maybe not 'just' like me...) so it helps.

Re: HP World 2005 call for papers
They are topics I've dealth with in itrc forums but the wider audience could help. Hopefully I'll find a way to use itrc forums in the presentation.

Re: HP World 2005 call for papers
If I've been through the site and submitted my ideas, am I done? Or do I have to submit a more detailed presentation by the 28th?
