HP11iV3 PVLINKS doesn't show all the lun

Hi,

Into HPUX11iV3 multipath agent is native PVLINKS but there's something weird with it. The problem is : I can't see all the lun and they're paths with "ioscan -m dsf" but they are visible with "ioscan -m lun" . Why do I see almost the half of the lun with dsf whereas all the lun are present into the second command output ?

disk are still missing after ioscan & insf.
I don't understand why multipath is not visible for disks above /dev/rdisk/disk43. ?!

That said, unless you have software that requires the legacy devices, it's recommended to use the "/dev/disk/*" and "/dev/rdisk/*" DSFs .

Is this server having disk presented , and re-presented again, just a thought.If the disk are not allocated to a volume (even if they are) and do not have data on it , can you please remove the disk device files , first
1)do we have a NO_HW disk here :
# ioscan -fkNC disk | grep NO_HW
# ioscan -fkNC lunpath | grep NO_HW
---if they are NO_HW disk then :

2)rmsf -av /dev/rdisk/diskxx

-----run ioscan;insf -eC disk
3)then compare the result again , please post.

Disks have been unmapped/remapped from SVC everything is allright ! thanks for your links
