HPDPS

I have a problem with print service. I attach a document with print screen about problem. Tell me if somebody know something about it.

Telling you the printer is disabled.

Issue the 'enable ' command against the printer.

View the same CDE windows and the ENABLED column will say 'TRUE'

Hi

As suggested in screen, enable the printer by #enable printer_name and then in GUI ststus should change to True.

You may have to stop and restart the spooler

The status "needs-key-operator" means that the HPDPS supervisor thinks the printer needs physical intervention.

Correct the offline condition, or jetdirect-has-been-unplugged or whatever is physically wrong, then re-enable the HPDPS physical printer object.

Since this is HPDPS, the command to re-enable is:
# pdenable :

rather than the usual
# enable

... or of course you can use Sam.
