Does anyone know how to get HPconfig up and running.. Attached is a screen shot of where it stops doing anything. Lots of other java apps run in the same env so I'm sure I'm missing something else..
Thanks,
Bill

Solution
i was able to run version 1.0 fine.
i had the same problems u c when running version 2.0 (remember its beta!). i reported this to HP and they said they are aware of the bug and suggested the following (i did not try the suggestions because in the end HPjconfig is not very helpful in my opinion for tuning the kernel) ...also below is the HPjconfig support team email
1) Run /usr/sbin/kmtune > kmtune.txt
2) Edit kmtune.txt, removing the line:
ncsize (NINODE+VX_NCSIZE)
3) Move kmtune.txt to the directory you have HPjconfig.jar in, and then "cd" to that directory
4) Run HPjconfig again, but this time with this command line:
java -DHPJCONFIGDEBUG=ON -cp /opt/java/HPjconfig.jar:/opt/java/HPjconfig_data.jar HPjconfig
hpjconfig@cup.hp.com

Re: HPjconfig
Hi all,
just to update on this, there was a bug identified and fixed by the lab (in the space of a day) relating to TCP configuration
man ndd.
I presume a fix will be inclued in the post beta release.

Bill
