HPUX 10.20 trusted Mode

How do I view archived security logs that have been archived to CD over time. We have a need to view these logs, and I was wondering if there is a log viewer available.
We are running HPUX 10.20 trusted mode, and roll the logs as they fill up to a common area, where they are archived to CDROM.
Thanks

How are you archiving the logs to CD? Whatever program you use to place them on CD is most likely what you will need to use to examine them.

Re: HPUX 10.20 trusted Mode

Thanks Pete,

On UX, we can use audisp and script it accordingly to view the log files. Is there any product available on Windows, or has anyone ported any script to windows that will allow the audit team to view the log files, etc, from that platform.

My assumption is that in the future, we may not have HP UX systems with which to view the log files.

Note,
I have run audisp on HP 11.x to view log files for trusted mode logs written under 10.20. That works fine.

Re: HPUX 10.20 trusted Mode

These are audit logs created on a trusted HP-UX system? And you need to view them from a Windoze PC because you're concerned that HP-UX might not be around much longer?

Obviously I'm not understanding this right, because if HP-UX isn't around, there won't be any more logs. Do you want to look at old logs for nostalgia's sake?

Sorry I'm so confused.

I didn't think so, but figured that anyone responding on the last day of the year deserves some credit.

Its a long story, and I can't get into it anyway, but thanks for the info.
