HPUX 11.0 or 11.i

Hi,
Quick and basic question, how to know if i am running a HP-UX 11.0 or HP-UX 11.i ?

From the uname -a --> i get
B.11.11 U 9000/800

What that mean ?

11.11 is one flavor of (PA-RISC) HP-UX 11i.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Note that 11i Version 1(11.11) is a very stable release. Its been around long enough for the kinks to be worked out and its supported by application vendors.

Just in case you are tempted to move to the latest and greatest for PA-RISC, remember that many application vendors, including Oracle do not yet support 11i v2 on PA-RISC.

That release hit the market in October. Its a good idea to let the bugs get smoothed out for some fixed period of time prior to upgrading.

The key factor for us is application vendor support.
