hpux 11.31 and NAT ,
Hi I have a hpux 1131 OS (Base operating Environment) running on rx3600.
The problem:
The machine have two lan (lan0 and lan1).
I am trying to configure NAT in the way that common user see the server with 192.168.20.50
but really the server have 192.168.1.5
All appear to be ok but there are network loss for log period of times.
I have try to use the second lan (lan1) and configure the address 192.168.20.50 the same that I am going to use with NAT but same thing happens, the only that I have not done is disconnect the network cable from the lan0 while I am using the lan1 or viceversa.
I have installed
HWEnable11i(B.11.31.0909.341b)
FEATURE11i(B.11.31.0909.341b)
QPK1131(B.11.31.0909.341a)
I am also to apply the last network drivers

Re: hpux 11.31 and NAT ,
although it is not supported for that functionality IPFilter can do NAT.
Check out the IPFilter book in docs.hp.com
another option would be to put another address on lan1
lan1:1
GOod luck
