Hi Gurus,
i have an HPUX 11.31 server(Itanimum server) runing with oracle 11g database .. total physical memory is 24GB .what would be the maximum physical memory i can assign to database alone and what would be minimum memroy requirement for OS becasuse i dont want to keep unnecessary free on my system ? (any knowledgebase stating any low value range for OS physical meory requirement )
shall i assign 25% of physical memory to OS and rest of the physical memory to database ?...any standard practise ?.
