Hpux 11.31 - Multipathing
Hi,
Was reading the release notes of hpux v3 and found it is capable of doing a multipathing on its own, does that mean I don't need to buy any multipathing software like EMC powerpath for 11.31 ?
What are the other advantages of V3 which you guys have experienced practically ?
I am still reading the pdfs, if I found something interesting I'll post it here, also Can I would request to all experienced 11.31 users to put their comments here please ?
Vijayyy

Re: Hpux 11.31 - Multipathing
Shalom,
No money required for basic features.
You will find some advanced features require you to purchase the full product. The best analogy I can give is from the filesystem arena. vxfs has basic features, but advanced features like expansion without umount require a pay for product.
Same idea here. Depending on what features you need determines the need to purchase something.
