HPUX 11i and bus adaptor
Can you switch off a bus adaptor with 11i? If so, how?
Thank you,
Sally

Re: HPUX 11i and bus adaptor
The only way that I know of to turn off something like a SCSI adapter is if you happen to have a machine that supports OLAR (online addition and replacement). If you have that then you can turn off individual slots so that a board can be replaced.
Again, keep in mind that this has to be supported at both the hardware and software levels. HP-UX 11i supports OLAR, but does your hardware?
