HPUX 11i J5000

Hi, I can not seem to do a cold install of 11i on my J5000. It just hangs during the kernel load period.

HARD Booted.

ISL Revision A.00.43 Apr 12, 2000

This is using the ide drive that is in the unit.

I'm also running firmware 5.0

Hi Adam

This is a system initialization code

INIT CC0x Operating System rendezvous, Where x = CPU

It's the point in the boot sequence where processors join the the boot sequence

If you have a support contract raise a call with HP requesting further diagnosis

To add, I never tried to install HP-UX OS in an IDE drive. Where did you connect the drive? How do you identify the disk? what type of address you have?
