Why does this have to be harder than pulling teeth ? You go to the support page and all drivers are available for umpteen previous versions of windows and macos but nothing for hpux.
my dilemma is, I have a hp laserjet 9000 series printer connected to a N4000 running 11i. hpnpl software version lists as E.10.18 and if I want to add this printer using hppi interface, it says this printer is not supported and gives me two options: 1 accept a new model script or 2 use one of the existing model scripts. I want to use/accept a new script but if only I can find it ? Is there such a thing as individual model script download from somewhere in hp.com ??
Thanks for the help in advance.

Solution
Well, E.10.18 is rather old so you should update to the most recent E.10.34 BUT addqueue -l still does not list the LJ9000 although a number of LJ8XXX's are listed and I suspect these will work just fine. Your situation is rather common but in general an old net_ljxxxx interface will work just fine and if you know the sequences for any additional features these options are easy to add by editing the interface (aka model script).
Download E.10.34 from here:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_query=jet+direct+printer+installer&h_tool=software&h_lang=en

If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: HPUX 11i laserjet 9000 series model script : where-oh-where ?
Thank you both for the info. I also have found the scripts under /pond as Ermin suggested by a call to HP.
