I need to know if there's a way to verify all the software patches are out of date or not by connecting directly to internet.

Shalom,
No, you need to contact the Internet to verify patch status. That information is available there.
You machine does not have to have Internet access. You can run patch assessment by running a collection script, moving the data file to a PC and uploading it. A recommended patch set will be generated by the itrc patch assessment site.

Hi:
Define "out-of-date". You can always order the CD/DVDROM sets of standard patch bundels that appear at least twice per year.
This may be sufficient depending upon your environment and your patch strategy. See here:

Hi
download the collect script from hp site to your system and run it and it creates a hostname.fs output .Upload this back to itrc site and on analysis this will give u the list of patches that you need to install on your system. down load the recomended patches and install on your system.
