HPuX 11iv2 & usb mouse
Hi all,
Im struggling to start an X session without much luck. For some reason my system is not detecting my mouse? startx exists with the following error:
(EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/hid/mouse_000
No such device.
(EE) Mouse0: cannot open input device
(EE) PreInit failed for input device "Mouse0"
No core pointer
The device is there! I looked in syslog.log and found the following:
ERROR usb_config_dev: Setting up the device interfaces
0/0/1/0.1.2 usbd
The mouse is good Im using it on my laptop without any problems. Any ideas?

Re: HPuX 11iv2 & usb mouse
Marius -- I haven't seen this problem.
DO you have the 11.23 USB Driver Patch (PHKL_31510) installed ?
There is also an Xserver patch (PHSS)30872).
What is the hardware model of the device ?

Re: HPuX 11iv2 & usb mouse
The problem was the mouse. I tried a different mouse and it works. Go figure ?! Thanks for the response :)
