1. )how to find out commands mapping..ie what is the cmd in solaris for "bdf" and "sam" in hpux? is any websites maintains this cmd's mappings?
2. )what are the active communties and forums like this ITRC for other famous UNIX's...ie AIX, sunOS, others.
3. )also Database forums for Oracle, MYSQL, and for others...

and still the database is the big problem for me. mailing lists deals with only mails. if any forum kind of websites, it would be better.

For Oracle you can use the Metalink, you should create an account there. This contains a Knowledge base with detail information.
Attached the commands for all unix flavours.
