HPUX Error: 233: No buffer space available

Hello All,

The following error repeats on listerner.log in one of our machines.


20-JAN-2005 12:37:15 * 12560
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00530: Protocol adapter error
HPUX Error: 233: No buffer space available


System is hp-ux 11.11.
Anybody have has an idea.

Hi AM,

The error is:

ENOBUFS 233 /* No buffer space available

This is probably a network resource problem & is likely due to the following ndd setting:

tcp_conn_request_max # You may be trying to exceed the max TCP connection limit
