Hi all,
I was wondering what tools you folk use to monitor network performance?
I have used glance plus a fair bit, but unfortunately, it only reports in and out packet rates, it doesn't even tell you how much traffic has gone through the cards. Nor does it tell you what the most common IP address is for inbound or outbound IP addresses.
Is there anything else out there that is useful?
Thanks.
- Andy

Hi Andy,
to benchmark your network I/O there's a classic called netperf which even comes from HP related network hackers.
