Re: HPUX serviceguard license
Servicegouard is licensed per core. So you buy 1 license for every CPU core your server has.
There's no technical implementation of this licensing, but that doesn't mean you're not breaking the commercial licenses Ts & Cs if you're not careful, so don't just go installing anywhere.
You can apply to have the licenses transferred from one host to another as long as you have the right number of per core licenses to do that. You can't just move em around all the time though.

Re: HPUX serviceguard license
Hi,
HP-UX MCSG serviceguard license comes with HOST bounded with Server.
Serviceguard license u can install or Install by HP TS Team at the time server installation with CODE WORD License in the Agreement paper.
It is possible to be transfered from node to another.
But This is Violation of License Agreement.
Thanks.

Re: HPUX serviceguard license
Hello,
when you ordered the SG, you get a printed sheet of the product number and the codeword.
Then you can insert your CD/DVD,
sam
install
select the product
Select Codeword
type in your codeword
