HPVM guest login issue.

While logging on from the host onto the guest server I get the below error:

Host:/=> sudo ssh client
Password:
PTY allocation request failed on channel 0

When checked on the client syslogs the error is:

ct 18 13:25:37  sshd[12487]: error: openpty: No such file or directory
Oct 18 13:25:37 sshd[12487]: error: session_pty_req: session 0 alloc failed

 Actions taken:

1) Rebooted the server

2) Created the pty files

3) Checked /dev/pty directory permission all seem to be OK

4) Check the kctune parameters and kcusage parameters they all are ok

kcusage |grep pty
npty 0 / 256
nstrpty 0 / 256

This server was recently recovered after SAN issue related to OS disk. Please provide your valuable inputs to resolve this issue.
