HPVM on LVM online migration in ServiceGuard

HP VirtualMachine guests as Serviceguard Package that used LVM-storage are support online migration to another VM Host?
Manual say:
****************************
Online VM Migration with Serviceguard
To perform an online migration of a VM guest as a Serviceguard package, the user executes the
/opt/cmcluster/toolkit/hpvm/hpvmsg_move command script that performs the following
operations:
• Serviceguard VM guest package switching is disabled (i.e., monitoring and failover functions are not available); however the VM continues to run on the source VM host
• The VM guest is migrated to target VM host online using the hpvmmigrate command automatically invoked by hpvmsg_move
• When migration is complete, VM guest package switching is re-enabled (i.e., Serviceguard
monitors and can failover VM guest)

Can SG activate VG on another node when VM Guest in “Freeze” phase?

Re: HPVM on LVM online migration in ServiceGuard

Bonjour Yaroslaw,

In order to have online VM migration working with VM that have LVM Storage as backing store, you must use SLVM. SLVM is a feature coming with MC/ServiceGuard that allows activation of a VG on several nodes.

Check chapter 11.5, "Migrating VMs That are Using Logical Volume Backing Stores", page 201, from installation guide @ http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02023903/c02023903.pdf
