hpvmdevinfo: Error converting (0,4,1): I/O tree node does not exist.

Hello,

This error is showing on the guest. No amount of ioscan and insf will create the Device names.

Any ideas what is wrong?

Re: hpvmdevinfo: Error converting (0,4,1): I/O tree node does not exist.

To solve it, in the guest, you must execute:

# ioinit -rC ext_bus (ALERT: The system will reboot immediately, without confirmation)).

after reboot, run

# rmsf -x

# ioscan

# insf -e

please reboot the vPar, and verify the startup of the "VM Guest-Tools" service, then you can verify with #hpvmdevinfo from the VSP or the guest
