HSX and LVM maintenance mode

HOw can I get the HSX driver (Secure Path for EVA3000) activated in LVM maintenance mode to "fix" the hardware paths to the LVM disks, using vgscan?

Re: HSX and LVM maintenance mode

Do you need to boot from this path?

Otherwise it is not necessary to adjust this in maintenance mode.

Hope this helps!

Re: HSX and LVM maintenance mode

We are trying to do a Disaster Recovery on a different system by booting from the SAN / EVA boot mirror. Because of the hardware differences, the paths to the disks change and needs to be "fixed" in hpux -lm mode. The boot from the EVA boot disk works fine into maintenance mode, but when I try moveing /etc/lvmtab away and doing a vgscan, LVM does not find the correct disks for vg00. It looks like the HSX driver is dynamically loadable and thus not loaded in maintenance mode.

How can I activate or load this module?
