I can't initiate graphic mode

Change password in way single user, beginning in multiuser way console
CDE does not show login, can be entered by the serial port to the equipment.
I can't beginning graphic mode. Which command use to initiate the graphic mode?

Hi,

can you find an error in /var/adm/rc.log?
What does ioscan -fn|grep graph shows?
What does graphinfo shows?

seems to be problem with hostname
