I need to replace a scsi hard disk Visualize B132L

Hi
Could you help me to replace a 4 GB hard disk for a 9 GB disk. I???m using a DDS Ignite tape on the new 9.0 GB disk.

The problem is that I don???t know how to interact with the recovery interface in order to modify LVM, and I don???t know what else have to be done

thanks!!

Boot with the tape. when booted, you will be given a chance ( 5 or 10 seconds ) to interrupt the recovery mode process and go for an interactive session.

Interactive session is same as hpux install from media except the software selection.
Should be self explanatory.

Re: I need to replace a scsi hard disk Visualize B132L

Hi

I have done this before... I am not saying this is totally true as such but it did work for me..

All you should need to do is restore as normal.... the system should only see the disk as a file system and restore thus.. the only behaviour you should see is that when the system restores there will be extra capacity.

Good Luck
