Re: I/O scan interpretation

Mike,

As far as the C2490AM disk is concerned, check out

http://www.sieler.com/hpdisk.txt

This lists it as

Model Year Size Notes
----- ---- ------ ----------------------------------------------

C2490AM 2 SCSI-SE 3.5" 2.0 GB

Re: I/O scan interpretation

The 28655A is not a FWD SCSI Card; it is a SE-SCSI Card with an integral Centronics parallel
printer port. The C1537A is a SE-SCSI DDS3 drive. I think the 2nd listing of the 28655A is simply the hardware path to the parallel port but it's been too long to remember E-box details.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: I/O scan interpretation

To be more clear. I think the 2nd 28655A listing is actually the same card above it; it's simply the parallel port device path.

Clay:

Yup - I was confusing these...
28655A. SE SCSI interface
28696A. FWD SCSI-2 interface

Re: I/O scan interpretation

The C2490AM disk is also a 2GB disk.
