Re: IA 11iv2 machine stuck in booting
Please check the console setting in EFI menu (should have only 1 entry).
Sure it isn't boot? Or are you on the wrong console? Just a guess.
Anything in the error/live logs of the MP?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: IA 11iv2 machine stuck in booting
punt.
Restore the system with a recent ignite backups.
Before doing that you might want to look for hardware fault, but that would require the hardware diagnostics built into the EFI interface, or HP hardware support.

Re: IA 11iv2 machine stuck in booting
Like SEP says, punt.
Restoring from an Ignite tape is simple. Just put the Ignite tape in the tape drive, then reboot. When the console displays "To discontinue, press any key within 10 seconds", hit a key. Then type 'sea' to search for all boot devices. Look for the tape drive. Then type 'boot pX', where X is the number of the device path for the tape. When it prompts for interact with the IPL, type 'no'. That's all there is to it... the OS will be restored. Then just restore your data backups and bob's your uncle, your done.
Regards,
Mark
