can you all advice me if I want to install IBM http server what version should I look into for the Websphere 6.0.1?

Websphere 6.0.1
might lead to all kinds of useful IBM
documentation on this product family.

how to match with the HPUX Itanium server?
I got one with IHS 6.1.0.0 for PARISC server.
But when I gunzip it did not work.

How to match what? With an HP-UX IA64 server
running which version of HP-UX?

You got one what? From where? If you have
an "Itanium server", why would you get "IHS
6.1.0.0 for PA[-]RISC server"?

Sometimes it can be helpful to show your
actual command with its actual output,
instead of a vague description like "it did
not work" What, exactly, did you do? What,
exactly, happened when you did it?

Sorry......

Actually I was given the software from vendor to install into my hpux itanium server with IBM Websphere 6.0.1.

I study the readme file it was for PARISC server so that is why I can't proceed the installation.
BTW I did go to IBM Websphere web to find the match or available ibm http server for my IBM Websphere 6.0.1 but unfortunately it ask me to ftp and my company did not allow.
Will find alternatif how to download this software.

Perhaps it works on both (Using Aries on Integrity) but IBM forgot to change the documentation??

_Which_ software, exactly? Did it come with
any instructions, or a list of requirements?
On what, exactly, are you trying to install
it? What have you for Java?

What JVMs do you have installed? Check "ll -d /opt/java*".
