Re: Identify failed root disk in disk array

What is the disk array model?

Every disk directly presented to the disk will have a path defined to it from OS, which you can make out from the ioscan output. You can makeout the disk id number from ioscan output. This id number will be unique to a specific slot depending the disk array attached.

>> 0/0/0/0.0.0 disk HP Virtual FileDisk

You are on a virtual machine, hence all of these disks are only vitual and cannot really fail.

In this case the virtual disk is a file on the vmhost.

You need to connect to the vmhost and check from there!

Hope this helps!
