Idle Time Between Print Jobs
Hi together,
i have a little problem with printing under hpux 11.i.
We have quite many single jobs that needed to be print as fast as possible. Now we have the problem that there is a waiting time?! between every job from 3 seconds. So when job 1 finished it waits 3 seconds till job 2 begins.

Is there any possiblity to change this time?

Re: Idle Time Between Print Jobs
3 seconds between jobs is pretty quick - I don't think you can change that. If the printer can't handle the jobs - maybe it's time to add another printer?

Re: Idle Time Between Print Jobs
Hi Geof, no its not a printer problem.
See the time needed to get the job to the printer is not the problem its the ide time between
Jan 26 14:24:54%%[ status: finish sending print data ]%%
and
Jan 26 14:24:57%%[ status: Job: HPLJ5SiLager-2299; User: phoenix ]%%
so it does 3 seconds nothing.
