IDS 9000
Hello everybody! Does anyone know about IDS9000. Some of my basic concerns are:
Is it worth installing??
Does it pose significant performance degradation?
If anyone has some answers that would be great. Thanks!

Re: IDS 9000
Greg,
If you are worried about security than IDS/9000 sure is worth installing.
Pay attention
to the necessary patches for IDS/9000 otherwise you'll not be able to run it.
Depending on the size of your site
(number of servers) it might make sense to set up a separate Admin machine and only have the client software running on production machines.
Regarding perfomance degration it can be said it depends very much on the templates you use.
Start with as less as needed and check the results and performance.
Regards
Rainer
