ids, ipfilt, ipsec/9000

Anyone use all of the above on one machine?

IDS looks like it may work just ok for now and I plan on installing it. ipfilter/9000 and ipsec/9000 I'm also looking at and wonder how well the two play together.

Anyone use IPsec for administrator access (ftp, telnet and X? Does IPsec play well with W2K or PGPnet? What about encrypting data for something like Oracle sqlnet traffic?
