IDS9000 setup troubles - gui

Hi All,

I've just installed IDS9000 on HP-UX11.00
I've generated the various certs and keys required and I'm now trying to start up the idsgui.

Everytime I try, I get the following errors:
/opt/ids/bin>./idsgui


Unable to display the GUI on

gitns1.pta.za.go2uti.com:0.0

Please check the value of the environment variable
DISPLAY and verify that this machine is authorized
to connect to that display.


The machine I'm starting the gui on is the one that I'm running the idsagent on.
Can anyone help me out here

try using ip_address:0 or a shor t 8 character DISPLAY name any change ?

Also can you run xhost + before running the idsgui command.

I've managed to get it working.
Turns out I need to start a vnc session under the ids user.

Once I'd done that it seemed to work perfectly. Thanks again .
