Re: IE's version on HPUX

Thanks Rainer and Peter-Klaus Hilpert.
But my HPUX was 10.10 which IE5 do not support.
Who could tell me other version for HPUX 10.10?
Thanks!

Re: IE's version on HPUX

IE5 is not supportet on HP-UX10.10 but you could try and load the HP-UX 10.20 version.

If thats not working your out of luck i guess. As the source of IE 5 is not freely available, no one else can provide the version you are seeking.

Anyway IE 5 on HP-UX is awfully big and slow.
No Mouse found. System halted. Press Mousebutton to continue.

Re: IE's version on HPUX

Hi,

As it has already been said, IE5 isn't supported on HP-UX10.20

Why don't you use Netscape ? It's a lot faster on Unix in general.

No, I'm not starting a new war between IE and Netscape. I'm using IE5 on my Windows box and Netscape on HP-UX platforms. ;-))

Dan

PS: Unless you have good reasons to stay with 10.10, you should consider updating to 10.20 at least.
