Ignite backup through Tape Library in SAN environment:OS is HP-UX B.11.11
I am not ablt to take the Ignite backup on tape through Tape Library on SAN envoronment.
Please suggest how to do it.

2 things:
1. I don't know what that device is, but it doesn't look like a standard /dev/rmt/Xmn tape drive device special file - And as the error suggests its not a no-rewind tape drive. Is this using special IBM/TSM device drivers? If so it's not going to work.
2. Even if you find a working device on your SAN, although might get a make_tape_recovery to succeed, you won't be able to boot off a SAN-attached tape drive - the device drivers simply don't support that - only locally attached SCSI tape drives can be booted off.
Maybe you should look at using a local tape drive, or consider make_net_recovery to another HPUX host.
