Ignite Cloning limitations
Hello,
I am trying to find a way to clone a rp7410 2-node MC/SG cluster.
I guess that Ignite can do this through make_sys_image, make_net_recovery...
But I wonder if the Mirror configuration, MC/SG config, cell/partition config has to be done through pre/post install scripts.
Does anybody ever tried this before?
BR,
Jerome

Re: Ignite Cloning limitations
I beleive it's documented somewhere that Ignite does not handle mirroring so that must be done post install. (I remember reading it at some point when revamping the backup/recovery procedures at my previous job a couple of years ago). Don't know about the others, but would guess it's the same.

Re: Ignite Cloning limitations
Armand,
You will have to create the N/Vpars. Ignite will only restore the OS without regard for partitions.
The Ignite tool is not Vpar/Npar-aware...

Unix, the other white meat.
