Ignite error

I just installed the latest version of Ignite, after my whole Ignite partition got corrupted, and I created a new one.

Now when I try to start Ignite, I get this:

/var/adm/sw/swagentd.log).
swinstall(1M) failed to install recovery tools from:
"depot:/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds".

ERROR: ERROR: There is currently no depot software on host "depotsvr" at
location "/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds". Make sure
that an absolute pathname is specified for location
(beginning
with "/").

Re: Ignite error

Now I get a different error, when trying to add a client for recovery:

ERROR: Permission denied
ERROR: Failed to mount: "depotsvr:/var/opt/ignite/clients"

Re: Ignite error

Shalom,

Did you swremove the old version first? if not, back up any config file custimizations and then swremove all current versions and swinstall the version you want.

swinstall syntax requires full path.

swinstall -s /tmp/ignite.depot \*

You haven't exported above directory on Ignite server. Add it to /etc/exports and run exportfs -av
