Ignite Error
I am receveing the error message in Net Ignite:
See:
lssf: Must specify a special_file usage: lssf special_file ... save_config: error - unknown disk type for , not SCSI or HPFL
save_config: error - cannot determine root disk
ERROR: /opt/ignite/bin/save_config failed
======= 05/31/04 16:16:27 SAT make_net_recovery completed unsuccessfully

I've read this problem before, and it indicates a couple of ideas.
1) Your LVM has a problem, you may want to look at running a 'vgscan', see the man pages for details.
2) Have a look at updating your ignite version. Here:

Re: Ignite Error
Ignite will validate disks and volume groups with several commands. These are structural (not data tests) checks. Run these commands on the client:
lvlnboot -v
vgdisplay
Any errors must be resolved before Ignite can be run.
