ignite error
When we are running ignite backup on production server, it's hangining after the below message.
** 0 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Not included in the
System Recovery Archive
** 1 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Partially included in the
System Recovery Archive
** 2 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Fully included in the
System Recovery Archive
* Checking Versions of Ignite-UX filesets
could you please advise on this error.

- What is the command launched for ignite backup
what informations are located in /var/opt/ignite/logs ?

this doesn't sound like an Errormessage to me.
What is the load of the system, diskusage, ...?
Are there any messages in syslog?
what is the version of the gnite-UX filesets. May you uptate ignite?

These are informational messages, not error messages.
What leads you to believe there is a problem?
Ignite does not start writing to tape, rather it inventories the lvols being backed up first, then writes to tape. You will see a delay (the length of which is dependent on the amount of data and the spped of the system) before the tape write begins

ignite version:C.6.7.79
backup command:
make_tape_recovery -A -v -a /dev/rmt/0mn.
logs in:/var/opt/ignite/logs
# cd logs
# ll
total 0
----------------------------------
error in /var/opt/ignite/recovery/recovery.log
Creating System Configuration.
* /opt/ignite/bin/save_config -f
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/2007-07-25,17:53/system_cfg vg00
NOTE: run_cmd: Process: 6470 (/opt/ignite/bin/save_config): killed by
signal: 15.
ERROR: /opt/ignite/bin/save_config failed
.
above is the error. i killed the job and rerun it, its completed successfully. please asist why its happen.might be problem with ignite ux files. may be files mismatch,here iam attaching find it. can u pls advise on this.Thank You.

Looking at the second phase, it looks like you or some had a kill command when the save_config was going on.
"above is the error. i killed the job and rerun it, its completed successfully".. looks like your kill command is what casued the error. save-config will take time depending on what is there in the system.
as far i remember the make_tape_recovery creates one more log file than what u mentioned above..(it creates under `date` folder
