ignite golden image
We're trying to take a golden image of an HP B180L system to a J5600 system. did it by creating a golden image and then using an HPUX (10.20) net ignite server to build the J5600 from. It starts out fine and after the 2nd reboot fails with some kind of stack error (too fast to see it all on the console) before it resets and tries to reboot again.
what's wrong?

Re: ignite golden image
Your version of HP-UX is too old - 10.20. Please provide more info - try to capture console output.

Re: ignite golden image
The minimum version you need to support the J-class is
HP-UX 10.20 ACE9912
HP-UX 11.00 ACE9911
Do you have this? Your version is probably too old to support the hardware.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ignite golden image
this is the version that's on the b180l I'm trying to build from:
swlist | grep -i ace
B6193CA B.10.20.ACE.2 Workstation ACE for HP-UX 10.20 (June 1998)
B6378BA B.10.20.ACE.0 s700 Networking ACE (1998 06) for HP-UX 10.20
if what you say is correct, this too old to use on a j5600
